cultural observations

o  Large-size flat-rate Priority Mail container boxes made available in the U. S. Post Office do not fold into a tight edge-to-edge fit but rather there are 1/8th - 1/2 inch allowances as if the specifications have been trimmed, with significant-size peep-slot that makes contents visible within box.

o  A long and rusting, slender exhaust-pipe thing can be seen now in Bennett Brook at the bridge walkway beside West Washington Street.
