catastrophe zone insect populations
Shown: tiny red ant piles outside Pleasant Street home here in Bradford PA, these near trash cans. Such tiny red ants became a common sight within such catastrophe zones as San Francisco CA post-earthquake of 1989, post-hurricanes 2004 Stuart FL, and here in post-flood Bfd PA. Their bites are painful and multiple as a dragnet of multiple ants will climb bare limbs when stepped-on or otherwise offended, causing immediate oozing sores and skin lesions.
